Purim at HNT is such a community experience and this year was no different. About 40 volunteers spent many weeks preparing for this year's Purim shpiel - BLAZING SHTRUDELS! About 500 congregants were there to watch the show and hear the Megillah read. A big thank you to all the HNT Women's League volunteers who baked more than 2,000 delicious hamantaschen for us to enjoy that evening. To top it all off - thanks to the generosity of our members - we collected more than $1,000 to be donated to the JFS Emergency Fund helping our community fulfill the mitzvah of matanot la'evyonim - gifts to the poor.
